Not from the Acid Grandad’s archives, but rather from the archives of Dave Johnston, who contacted us over on that Facebook. Ticket from the final night at the Hacienda. Or in Dave’s own words:
“Thought this might interest you. The last time ever the Hac was open. It has pride of place on the wall. Granted it wasnt a patch on the old days and we used to go in the...

Flyer of the Day - Fever 2 @ Busbys, London. Not sure if we would ever have been that bothered about attending a reunion for an island that we’ve never been to, but this flyer finds its way on to the blog courtesy of the ‘Attractions’ list. From the Acid Grandad’s archives etc.

Apologies for the recent slow down in the number of posts on the blog over the last few days. We’re over in Germany, stalking Westbam. Normal service will be resumed on our return later this week. That mug has been laced with MDMA, by the way.

We think that it would be a bad idea for the Acid Grandads to go to this event. Firstly,...

The other side of midnight
The event that started it all for me. Having just moved to nearby Norden a few weeks earlier, I noticed a lot of kids in cars and vans heading through the village. A taxi pulled up. ”Do you know where it is mate?” ”No” Want a lift anyway?”
The beginning of a journey that lasted right up to the present day.
